Represent the Lie formed during the middle months of 2008 and have quickly exploded onto the central Pennsylvania music scene with their powerful modern rock covers, fiery originals, and energetic stage performances. Rising from the aftermath of previously established bands, (Scarred for Life, 7 Years Down, and Carl Road), Brent Carlous, Rich Cupillari and Brandon Anderson have teamed up with State College locals James Gingerich and Chuck Lavera to form an impressive coalition of talent, creativity and experience. Following the departure of Rich Cupillari in the later months of 2009, the band fused with former Pushing Red bass player Chris Walter to add an even more explosive element to their performance. Complete with an incredible sound and light show (Wayne Beaver) - RtL is laying siege to stages all over central Pennsylvania.

Almost from the onset, the band has dedicated the vast majority of their efforts into establishing strong opposition to the party-rock scene that has seemingly saturated central Pa over recent years. Instead, RtL has focused on creating a more aggressive, high-impact show, covering music from influential bands like System of the Down, Three Days Grace, and Breaking Benjamin to name a few. Having already shared the stage with local acts like Wiskerbisket and Kitty Whip and national recording artists Days of the New - it has become undeniably clear that RtL is quickly gaining recognition and support within the central Pennsylvania music scene as well as their rapidly growing fan base. In short, Represent the Lie has become more than just music, they have become an unforgettable experience.
